I like the idea of having on dress form for multiple sizes. I felt like the package should not have been damged the way it was. Luckily, the mannequin was not damaged. Also the spacing between the wheels used to change the mesurements make it difficut to drape. I appreciate the dress form. Now that I have it I can make my own patterns, I just expected something a little better.

I needed a huge amount of needle markers for a lace shawl I was making, so I thought I would give these a try and I now these markers are the only type I ever use for socks and shawls.

The triangle shape transfers to the working needle so much more easily than the round ones do, just knit along and scoop them up without even really thinking about snagging that dangly jeweled marker or the split ring marker that catches in your wool.... smooth and fast.
If I need A B C OR D differentiations for my short rows I just write some little sharpie marker dots on the side and that works for me.... so much faster without the dangle charms.

The two colors are nice and I love that all the sizes are different colors, which is not always the case for all brands. I use a different colored triangle marker one size up from this one to mark my beginning of the round and that works great.

I just received this book and again Pam Nicky Lintott does not disappoint the avid quilter. After the first 3 books I could not believe there could be any more new and inspiration quilt patterns- especially for pre-cuts- but this book is full of fresh designs As with their other books, the instructions are clear and there are pictures of 2 color ways or fabric choices to help a quilter increase their quilting options. Finally, and this is my favorite part of all, these Lintott books contain full pictures of the quilts enabling a quilter to really view the pattern, colors and values. Now, I am off to make the quilt pictured on the cover. I can not wait for it to be finished.

I purchased this loom with the intention of making socks (duh!). The wood and metal pegs are very high quality and I think it will outlast my desire to make socks. The DVD is nice but it somewhat lacking...I started knowing nothing and the DVD doesn't help all that much. I'd recommend finding a primer or some such (or lots of reading up online) in addition to the provided directions if you are a complete beginner.

A couple tips:

1) Do everything LOOSE. No matter how tightly it looks like she is doing things in the video, if your loops are even remotely tight, things get tough to impossible pretty quick. Keep it loose and you won't have as many problems.

2) Sizing is a bit sketchy. I'd set it a little smaller than what you actually measure. That could just be because I was doing my loops loose and the yarn I used could play a part.

3) Watch out for splitting yarn...if you don't catch it, it makes doing the next loop on that peg a nightmare.

I chose this over other bracelets because of the braided type bracelet thing as opposed to just a smooth look like u find everywhere. So i love that part about this bracelet, but regarding the actual hand, it all right. Nothing is wrong with it, but it's just not as shiny and clean and i would have liked. The picture is pretty acurate, not that im saying it doesnt match up to the advertised photo. For the price, it's definitely worth it.

Hey guys well just want to update and let you know that this bracelet broke. I still love the braided part but the metal part broke at the clasp. I still wear it but i cant take it off now (I used the circle/ring and force closed both sides to each other, so i either have to open it up and take it off, or just leave it on.

Has brought me luck though. Let's hope it stays that way.

I purchased a Paasche H-202S airbrush to apply both thin oil and water base wood finishes and to apply heavier resin coatings on metal and synthetic parts. My decision was based upon the recommendations of the material suppliers; single action brush, siphon feed and extermal mix. I was anticipating an extended learning curve but, instead, found I was using the equipment competently within a few minutes.

The kit came with three nozzle sizes, a hose, bottles and a cup reservoir, which made for good flexibility of use without having to chase accessory parts down. I'm sure there are many more creative applications that require more artist's control, but I'm not an artist. This simple and relatively inexpensive airbrush is greatly improving the quality of my work.
