I purchased a Paasche H-202S airbrush to apply both thin oil and water base wood finishes and to apply heavier resin coatings on metal and synthetic parts. My decision was based upon the recommendations of the material suppliers; single action brush, siphon feed and extermal mix. I was anticipating an extended learning curve but, instead, found I was using the equipment competently within a few minutes.
The kit came with three nozzle sizes, a hose, bottles and a cup reservoir, which made for good flexibility of use without having to chase accessory parts down. I'm sure there are many more creative applications that require more artist's control, but I'm not an artist. This simple and relatively inexpensive airbrush is greatly improving the quality of my work.
